The Alienist: Angel of Darkness 2020
some of the Matte paintings i had the privilege to work on for the season 2 Alienist 2020. Was quite a challenge historically speaking as we had to re create specific looks and locations that obviously dont exist anymore but yet keeping them as close as possible to how they actually looked like back in the ay 1890s NY. We had a great team working on the show in all departments.
had to recreate this specific historical mansion that unfortunately doesnt exist anymore, the plate eventually was only the white horse :P
this one was a tough one, started as a full 3d layout in 3d but due to various issues had to be basically manually finished almost going building by building
